‘I shout, F**k you!’: When Margot Robbie claimed she did THIS to land her breakthrough role in The Wolf of Wall Street starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Margot Robbie In The Wolf Of Wall Street
Margot Robbie explained how she landed the main part in Wolf of Wall Street by whacking Leonardo DiCaprio across the face at the audition.
Margot Robbie had her Hollywood debut in the film About Time, but she rocketed to prominence as Naomi in The Wolf of Wall Street. Robbie’s stunning performance in the Oscar-nominated film directed by Martin Scorsese pushed her to the spotlight.
Margot Robbie discussed landing the role of Naomi in Wolf of Wall Street.
The Barbie actress explained how she got the job in the film in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. She remembered an instance in which she smacked Leonardo DiCaprio, a scene she invented. “So I walk up really close to his face and then I’m like, ‘Maybe I should kiss him,'” she explained. When else will I ever get the opportunity to kiss Leo DiCaprio?’ But then another part of my brain goes, ‘Whack!’ I punched him in the face. Then I exclaim, ‘F–k you!’ That isn’t in the script at all. “The room fell silent, and I froze.”
However, she was unsure how the directors of The Wolf of Wall Street and DiCaprio would respond, and she later regretted her decision. “I’m thinking, ‘You just hit Leonardo DiCaprio in the face,” she recalled. “They’re going to arrest you for assault,” Robbie recounted. “You’re never going to work again, that’s for sure.” They’ll probably sue you as well if he gets a bruise and needs to film something else.”

Margot Robbie revealed that her improvisation helped her get the role
Everything worked out in her favor because everyone on set admired her improvisation. “Marty says, ‘That was great!'” she said. ‘Hit me again!’ says Leo.
According to Time Magazine, Scorsese verified the claim, saying, “Margot has all of this, plus a unique audacity that surprises and challenges, and just burns like a brand into every character she plays.” During our first meeting, she clinched her role in The Wolf of Wall Street by jerking off and giving Leonardo DiCaprio a thunderclap of a smack on the face, an improvisation that stunned us all.”
On the employment front, it has been claimed that Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling will reunite for the Oceans 11 prequel, following their success with the box office hit Barbie.
